Pro Ewe Genetics

Pro Ewe Genetics was started in 2018 when Jake Rouse and Kyle Hurley bought a few purebred Polypay ewe lambs from Uncompahgre Polypays out in Delta, CO.  In 2020, Jake and Kyle split up the flock so that Jake could manage an elite flock of purebred Polypays and Kyle could focus on his impressive commercial Polypay sheep operation.  The flock now consists of 50 registered Polypay ewes.  The flock is culled vigorously and only the best stick around.  We continually use sires that are in the top 10% of the breed according to their NSIP EBVs.  Our ram lambs are sold off the farm April-July and work great for both purebred producers and commercial operations.  We usually have a select group of replacement ewe lambs for sale each year as well.
